Fun with Cane/Stick and Zills with Isaden

Location: Routhier Community Center 2nd Floor Room Page (172 Guigues St., Ottawa)

Time: 1-4 pm
Maximum Spaces Available: 12

Learn basic cane/stick movements and basic zills. Then learn how to combine the two props together for fun and challenge in some movement combinations.

Cost: $30 after March 7

SPRING FLING/HAFLA FUNDRAISER

ONLY ONE MONTH AWAY – ALL BELLY DANCE ENTHUSIASTS WELCOME!!

BOLLYWOOD FANS AND DANCERS ARE WELCOME TOO!!

The party will be at the Legion hall at the corner of McLaren and Kent (lots of parking).

The doors (and the bar) open at 7 pm. The party starts at 8 pm. Food will be served from 8:30 pm till close!

Everyone is invited to dance: soloists, groups, troupes, bunches….out-of-towners are welcome too!

Be sure you bring your music on a CD…not a CD-R or MP3

Lots of open dance floor time….we might even get the guys up again!

West End Bazaar

LOCATION: OUR LADY of PEACE Catholic School at 3877 Richmond Road, Bell’s Corners.

There are still a few booths available for vendors: to sell your costumes (new or used), music, instruments, accessories and jewellery and services for our belly dance and Tribal community.

This bazaar is once again a fundraiser for the Women’s Shelter in Iqaluit, Nunavut. We will have two raffles and will accept donations.
